Before coming to live in one of LCC’s residential aged care services, prospective residents and the service enter into a Pre-admission Resident Agreement. This process provides the opportunity to understand the most important aspects of the arrangements before moving in.
After moving in, the resident and service will negotiate a more detailed Permanent Resident Agreement. Certain decisions, such as whether to make a lump sum or daily payment for accommodation, can be made up to 28 days after entry.
We recommend you seek professional financial and legal advice before signing any aged care agreement, as the best situation for you can only be determined after considering your individual circumstances and preferences.
