The first thing you’ll notice about Orana is its lovely open spaces and great views. Orana’s country ‘vibe’ is more than bush and paddock views, it’s in the warmth of the staff and the community feel of the service. Perched on a picturesque hill, we are a hub that connects the whole community.

Residents can choose to live in residential aged care or the independent living retirement village. Conveniently co-located so that you can stay in your aged care community even if your care needs change.

Our services

At our community health hub residents have easy on-site access to a weekly RSL support group, Parkinson’s and dementia support group, a Medicare Local office, and more. At Orana, we work with our residents to understand the things that are most important to them. We aim to provide an experience that offers:

  • Expert nursing, personal care and lifestyle services that support dignity and independence
  • A choice of activities that offer opportunities for creativity and developing new skills and interests
  • An environment where feedback and resident-initiated activities are welcomed
  • An open and friendly place to live that welcomes family, visitors and members of the broader community
“At Orana we aim to exceed your expectations of care and lifestyle. All are welcome to be part of our community.”

Kym Zischke, Service Manager Orana

Smoke-free policy: Important information for prospective residents
Our residential aged care services are unable to accommodate new residents who wish to smoke. This policy is in response to Queensland legislation banning smoking by any person on or near the grounds of these services. These measures are also part of our transition to a smoke-free environment that better supports the health and wellbeing of everyone who lives at, works at or visits our services.
