With nine locations throughout South East Queensland, we provide our staff with the advantages of being a member of a large organisation whilst maintaining the supportive and caring environment of a small provider. Our services offer both low and high care residential services, as well as home care services, independent living and respite, giving staff the opportunity to develop a wide variety of skills.
Lutheran Community Care’s community services provide a wide array of support to individuals, families and their communities in the fields of disability, mental health and youth and family services. Our professional and dedicated staff members encourage our clients to achieve, develop positive relationships and engage others within their local communities.
We are currently transitioning to a smoke-free environment in order to better support the health and wellbeing of people who live at, work at or visit our services. Some residential aged care services are already smoke-free, while others have designated smoking areas that will be removed in 2017. This policy is part of our response to Queensland legislation banning smoking by any person at residential aged care services.
At Lutheran Community Care, we value your health and wellbeing. To help us ensure your health and safety at work, you must have a pre-employment health assessment and be cleared fit for the role for which you have applied by our Chief Medical Advisor, before you can be offered employment.
