Lutheran Community Care is a well established, not-for-profit organisation that provides services to people from all backgrounds in more than 20 locations in urban and regional Queensland.

We work hard to meet the individual needs and preferences of every one of our customers, and to show them respect in the way we support them.

House for adults with disabilities officially opens

LCC’s innovative disability housing project, Karawatha House, has been officially opened and dedicated at a ceremony attended by Queensland’s Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services Cameron Dick.

Karawatha House, which backs onto beautiful Karawatha Forest at Trinder Park, south of Brisbane, provides ensuite accommodation for three residents and 24/7 live-in support from disability workers, who are based nearby at Keystone disability service.
